The project is a complementing and complementary form in relation to the existing building.
By incorporating and extending the existing inner structure, taking into account the stock of trees and generating a public passage from Innrain to Herzog-Sigmund Ufer, an open, transparent building volume with manifold views is created.
The parking areas of the buildings are arranged in open park decks connected to the road level, which are designed as an integral part of the building and are ventilated from the surrounding courtyards.
Client: Republic of Austria, represented by the state government of Tyrol.
Programme: Extension of the State Treasury by 2,800 sq.m. and of the State Police headquarters by 2,200 sq.m. usable floor area, 250 parking spaces
